These engineers play a crucial role in advancing technology and enabling innovations in various industries.
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities: Provides primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. General Requirements: Understands and explains related technical issues, knowledge of company products and all potential applications. Has a working knowledge of one or more programming languages such as TCL. Has effective communication and presentation skills both in English. Excellent customer interface, negotiation communication, and planning skills are required. Leads and manages complex tasks to achieve timely completion consistent with program schedule and cost constraints. Design experience should include analog and AMS design with experience using PrimeSim, MSV, VCS. Deep understanding of design methodologies in Backend implementation is required, Knowledge of the front-end design process or experience with timing signoff, extraction, and LVS/DRC are a plus. Synopsys tool experience is desired, but not required. Level Requirements: Typically requires a minimum of +20 years of related experience. Possesses a full understanding of specialization area plus working knowledge of multiple related areas. Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Performs in project leadership role. Contributes to complex aspects of a project. Receives little to no instructions on day-to-day work, occasionally receives general instructions on new assignments and projects. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is independent and collaborative in nature. Provides regular updates to manager on project status. Represents the organization on business unit and/or company-wide projects. Guides more junior peers with aspects of their job. Frequently networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. Inclusion and Diversity are important to us.
