Field Marketing Manager, Aerospace & Defense
- Develop and execute an account-focused marketing strategy tailored to the FA&D industry, prioritizing engagement with the top 30 key accounts.
- Identify emerging industry trends and challenges to craft compelling value propositions and targeted marketing programs.
- Plan, organize, and execute a diverse mix of events, digital campaigns, and demand-generation initiatives to increase brand visibility and drive qualified leads.
- Partner closely with sales teams to align marketing activities with business objectives, accelerating account growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including industry, product, and corporate marketing—to ensure consistency in messaging and maximize program impact.
- Manage and allocate marketing budgets efficiently, tracking campaign performance and leveraging data-driven insights to refine strategies and forecast future investments.
- Oversee the planning and execution of high-impact trade shows, conferences, sponsorships, and executive events to strengthen brand presence and generate new business opportunities.
- Leverage account intelligence and stakeholder mapping to design high-value executive event experiences that foster relationships and advance sales opportunities.
- Drive growth and account expansion in the FA&D sector by creating and executing strategic marketing programs that resonate with key decision-makers.
- Enhance Synopsys’ brand visibility and reputation within the federal, aerospace, and defense industries through innovative campaigns and memorable events.
- Empower sales teams with effective marketing tools, insights, and support to accelerate the sales cycle and close high-value deals.
- Foster collaboration and alignment across sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging and a unified go-to-market approach.
- Deliver measurable ROI on marketing investments by tracking campaign effectiveness and continuously optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders, positioning Synopsys as a trusted partner and industry leader.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Synopsys’ marketing strategies by leveraging your deep industry expertise and creative problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B events or Account-Based Marketing (ABM), with a strong preference for experience in software or hardware marketing within the FA&D industry.
- Proven expertise in designing and executing high-impact marketing programs and events, particularly those targeted at government, aerospace, or defense customers.
- Strong analytical skills for measuring campaign effectiveness, tracking performance, and refining strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with sales and cross-functional teams to achieve shared business objectives.
- Ability to manage multiple events and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 40% as needed.
- Experience working in government, aerospace, or defense sectors is highly desirable; prior experience with engineering or technical teams is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with a creative, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to build alignment and influence across diverse teams.
- Highly organized self-starter with a strong sense of personal accountability and ownership.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
